The Director of HR will provide the vision, leadership, direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of HR programs and services including organizational design and development, talent acquisition, career development, compensation and benefits, learning and development, as well as other programs, that effectively support our 1000+ employees.

In partnership with the Leadership team, the Director of Human Resources will lead in the development and recruitment of top talent, design new organizational strategies, and implement a succession plan that cultivates our top performers and drives employee career plans to further support the company s growth and evolution.

The Director of HR will lead in the development of competitive, sustainable and scalable HR programs and processes that drive improved workforce performance and engagement. This leader will support the company s drive for continuous improvement within the HR function, drawing on internal and external best practices and leading-edge expertise on all HR operational strategies.

  • The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading all HR functions and directs and mentors the HR staff. The HR Director works closely with the leadership and management teams in the delivery of HR services to include; benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, career development, policy implementation, legal compliance, talent acquisition, organizational development and change management leadership.

  • Ensure excellence in the delivery of HR programs and services including organizational design and development, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, career development, employee relations, compensation and benefits; as well as other programs that attract, develop, and retain talent.

  • Develop and lead the HR strategy and prioritize and execute multiple initiatives aimed at supporting the performance, development, reward, engagement and retention of employees
  • Lead the strategic talent management framework which includes the life-cycle activities from acquisition, on-boarding, development and retention of critical talent
  • Drives strategic HR change efforts within the organization including organization design and change management
  • Maintain, monitor, and reinforce all HR policies and procedures and practices ensuring compliance of federal and state laws
  • Identify and lead initiatives to maximize employee engagement
  • Mentor and develop the HR team in various areas of HR specialty; provide substantive technical advice and knowledge to support the development of team members
  • Implement and maintain an effective succession plan, including management development and employee career path programs appropriate for supporting and sustaining the company s growth
  • Lead all core people operational functions, including benefits design and administration and HRIS administration.
  • 10 years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience
  • Minimum of a bachelor s degree in human resources or relevant field with a master s degree preferred; PHR certification preferred but not required
  • Experience in the negotiation, design, implementation of employee benefits and in the design of competitive compensation plans.
  • Change management & communications expertise to include ability to facilitate learning and problem solving,
  • Project and process management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering results
  • Adaptive work style and strong executive presence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and counsel both employees and management
  • Strong business partnership: able to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders.
  • Up to 10% travel.
